After leaving Seville we crossed the border into Portugal and headed to the World Heritage City Evora. We spent two unforgettable days at Pousada Convento de Évora, the former convent in Évora, where we had some amazing meals and saw some great relics of the past. On the first night and with a view of our hotel room door from the bar, Ian and I even ventured downstairs alone, leaving the kids happily watching a movie - if you ever make it to Evora, which we recommend, then this Pousada is a winner!
