Our little girl turned 6 on Tuesday and she still captivates us as much as the day she was born. Her birthday was celebrated in Zambian style with a princess party and all the trimmings. Her amazing invitations and cake were made by my friends Olga and Aliya respectively.
The party was celebrated with the 7 girls in her class, her little friend Elli, and Cameron’s 3 close friends. She had the mandatory jumping castle which is a fixture of any Zambian (American school) birthday party and we played musical dots (the brainchild of Auntie Sandy). Plus thanks to Komo – and my newfound skills at searching through recipe books – there was some yummy food.
